There was no better way to start expanding my drum scores with an improvised drum sound composition and writing what I hear onto paper. I saw big circles as my bass drum and small dots as my high snares, dynamically seen the shapes of the flowy fills and square patterns of their repetitiveness. I saw it all in my head and it was time to put their existence on paper. “18:18” was the first piece to visually exist in a piece of paper, which consisted in small black and white detailed marks on a 22”x30” paper. My Drum Art was finally communicating via shapes and written language.
